The Biblioteca Boscocolto consists of three mobile modules that can incorporate books, bodies and other things. They create spaces for reading, chatting or listening.
The project emerged in the course of BoscoColto - a cultural and territorial laboratory exploring landscape and communities within the Bosco di Santo Pietro nature reserve, situated in the area of Caltagirone, CT, Sicily.
The workshop led by Marco Terranova focussed on designing by building and using the materials we had at hand. We also integrated snippets of the other BoscoColto workshops into the library - such as zines, paintings, a jar of fermented cabbage, a large-scale Yahtzee game or a bee hotel.
